Sacral chakra is responsible for sexuality, creativity and emotions. It develops at the age of 6 months to 2 years and is located in the lower abdomen, slightly below the navel. It affects the genitals, kidneys, intestines and immune system. According to Anodea Judith, the goal of this chakra is to get things moving: to get the body moving, the energy within you to move, to move forward in your life with joy.

Balance
When the sacral chakra is balanced, you are passionate, creative and open. You have an optimistic attitude towards life and healthy sexuality. You will enjoy your life and be creative in your own way. A balanced sacral chakra will help you deal with difficult emotions.
Blocked
When this chakra is blocked, your libido is low, you experience fear of intimacy, you can be dependent or destructive.
Overactive
When sacral chakra is overactive, you are hypersensitive, manipulative, and you may be addicted to sex. You can be in controlling towards other people and the environment.
Healing
Instead of thinking about “working” with this chakra, try “playing”. Get out and get moving. Try to express yourself in different ways, through dance, song, art, movement. When you get this chakra in balance, it will help you with other chakras as well. All the things that bring you pleasure will help balance this chakra.
Meditation
Meditation is good for all chakras, for the whole body and mind. Below are links to a few meditations which, in one way or another, treat the sacral chakra:

You can search for sacral chakra meditations, there are a lot, but all meditations related to creativity and emotions also good for this chakra. You can also try dance meditation, play some favorite song of yours, close your eyes and let the music move you!
Creativity
Everything creative will benefit your sacral chakra. If you feel that there is too little creativity in your life, then feel free to try different ways to express yourself! Try dancing, painting, crafts, cooking, writing. But keep in mind that creativity can be much more than these. Creativity is about seeing, experimenting, making mistakes and learning about different options.
Think about your childhood, what did you enjoy then? Could childhood games be turned into a present day hobby? Don’t let prejudices stop you, do your own thing, for yourself. It is important that there are things in your life that bring you pleasure. And especially when by doing it yourself, you bring yourself pleasure. Find something that will ignite your creative flames!

Movement
All kinds of movement is really important for the sacral chakra. Keep your body moving, try different sports: yoga, dance and water sports are especially good for the sacral chakra. But just about any exercise is good, find the sport that will make you feel good both physically and mentally.. For me, for a long time any kind of exercise just brought negative emotions, but at last I have found myself suitable sports: f.ex. yoga, dancing, walking and hiking. I’m still no athlete, but these sports bring me pleasure in life and I am glad I found them.
Finally
When your sacral chakra is in balance, you will be able to enjoy your life to the fullest. You know how to handle your emotions and your relationships are balanced. Creativity in its various forms will bring you more energy and pleasure into your life. If you feel that there is no room for creativity in your life at the moment, focus first on healing your chakras. Balancing emotions and sexuality is very important for the sacral chakra. It is easier to find your creative side when you get your chakras in balance first, at least the sacral chakra.
